The world we live in is changing. The young adults we’re in ministry with are also changing. Their interests, passions, communication styles, and gathering preferences are just some of the ways this generation is unique from the ones before it. How they discern vocation is also unique and highly contextual.

Join other conference staff, campus ministers, youth directors, camp and retreat staff, and others to…

discuss these differences, hear how some leaders are engaging young adults with respect to vocational discernment, and spend time developing strategies for engaging young adults around call in meaningful ways in your own context.

Discerning Call in an Augmented Age

The National Festival of Young Preachers is a trans-denominational, one-of-a-kind event designed to showcase and encourage young people who aspire to be preachers of the Gospel. The National Festival of Young Preachers is not a competition. It is a celebration, an inspiration, an occasion of mutual edification and encouragement. Young Preachers, ages 14-35, from every Christian tradition (Evangelical, Orthodox, Protestant, Pentecostal, and Roman Catholic) and all throughout the country are encouraged to preach at the National Festival precisely as they would in their home environment or explore creative preaching styles in the AoP preaching laboratory. This diversity has proven to be one of the most transformational elements about the gathering.  You or Young Preachers in your network are invited to join us January 2-5, 2019 in Atlanta, GA at the Grant Hyatt in Buckhead for this momentous occasion.  Learn more at nationalfestivalofyoungpreachers.org.
